As I have already mentioned that I will be telling you two method to find it, the first one is by using your bank passbook and the second method is by calling customer care center of the bank.
Finding Customer File Number in Passbook:
You will get your CIF number mentioned on the first page of your bank passbook, all you have to do is find your passbook and open the first page of it.

Finding Customer File Number by Calling Customer Care:
If you don’t want to find your bank passbook then you can follow this second method to find CIF Number.
- Call Indian Bank customer care on their toll-free number: 1800 4250 0000.
- Once you call them, get your call connected to speak with customer care executive by selecting options using IVR.
- Tell them that you want to know your CIF Number, they will ask you few things like your bank account number, name, address etc. for verification purpose.
- If you answer all the questions correctly they will tell your CIF number.
